INTERNAZIONALE MILANO • NYC
Nathalie Pozzi
Designed and fabricated in less than three weeks, this cage-like structure of steel tubing and black mesh, lit entirely in electric blue, brings the identity of Internazionale Milano to the Javits Center in New York.
The stand is conceived as a luminous grid: a modular frame that is open enough to be seen through, yet strong enough to define a clear territory inside the vast exhibition hall.

At the heart of the stand, a backlit display presents the Scudetto and Coppa Italia trophies, framed by their emblems and by the club’s honors: 21 Scudetti, 10 Coppa Italia, 3 UEFA Champions League titles, and more.
The shelves are more than display surfaces. Together with the square floor plan, they brace the volumes, so the whole structure stays light and open yet strong and rigid.
LED tubes, set in vertical and diagonal rhythms, echo the club’s black and blue stripes and the dynamic lines of its crest, turning the architecture itself into a graphic statement.
The signature circular logo is suspended at the entrace, acting as a beacon that draws visitors in from across the hall.

For the event, Accurat designed custom “data portraits,” unique visualizations that tell the story of a person through many layers of information.
Each portrait was printed on a pin and added to a screen, which grew busier and busier with unique patterns.
A floor graphic guides visitors toward this focal point, creating a natural path from the aisle to the trophies. Around the perimeter, merchandise and footballs sit in the grid like pieces on a shelf, reinforcing the sporting spirit of the brand.

The result is an immersive, high-contrast environment that translates the club’s heritage and energy into a bold spatial experience, memorable even in the scale and noise of a major trade venue.
The design and fabrication were based on a modular system, so that graphic, video and exhibition content could be developed while the structure was being built.
The design also considered efficient transportation and fast onsite assembly, which was essential given the tight time constraint.
